Post-Secondary Schooling within Oxford County
Within Oxford we have two Fanshawe College campus locations. At the Tillsonburg Centre and nearby Woodstock Campus, specialized programs are offered in the fields of business, computers, health care, manufacturing, horticulture and vocational assessment services. They also offer a number of part-time courses, including language classes.

Elementary Schools in Oxford County
In elementary school, students learn literacy and numeracy skills, building a foundation for academic achievement and a lifetime of success. The focus in the elementary school early years is to build a foundation in key areas that will help unlock each student's potential. Through Ontario’s 4,000 publicly funded elementary schools there are approximately 1.4 million students.
TVDSB operates all of the public elementary schools in Oxford County. At Thames Valley, their Vision is to sustain “A Caring, Learning Community” focused on improving student learning. Their primary responsibility is educational excellence and service to students. Thames Valley District School Board oversees all public elementary and secondary schools in Oxford County. Several of these schools also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) programs at the elementary, secondary, and adult levels.

LDCSB operates all of the Catholic Elementary Schools in Oxford County. The London District Catholic school system has 48 elementary and 8 secondary schools providing a full range of education experiences from Junior Kindergarten through to the completion of secondary school. In addition, Continuing Education for adult learners is available. 21,000 students in the counties of Middlesex, Oxford and Elgin, including the cities of London, St. Thomas and Woodstock are educated in this school system.
