If you want to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, your first step is to become a candidate in the Express Entry pool.

Express entry

Express Entry is not an immigration program in itself, but rather a system used by CIC to select candidates for immigration to Canada using the Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, Canadian Experience Class, and Provincial Nominee Programs.

There are many ways of immigrating to Canada. Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s Website lists the ways in which individuals and families come to Canada, describing the process for each immigration program.
